Riese & Müller presented its new ebikes for the 2026 season at Eurobike around three months ago. Now the manufacturer is following up with a digital update. The new RX Connect App 3.0 is now available to download from the relevant app stores.
According to Riese & Müller, the focus of this update was on the app’s appearance. On the one hand, this is intended to give it a more modern look. At the same time, the aim is to make it easier for you to find your way around the menus with a reduced design and clear structure. In addition, version 3.0 offers more options than in the past for customising various settings to your own preferences.
One new feature, for example, is that the RX Connect app now allows you to choose coloured backgrounds that match the frame colours of Riese & Müller ebikes. As we have not yet been able to test the app with the update, we cannot say exactly what this will look like. In the manufacturer’s press release, it sounds as if the background colours and frame colours are not identical, but rather similar.
With the integration of new animations, Riese & Müller has enhanced the user experience of the app. Despite the more sophisticated visualisation, the app is said to respond faster than before. You also receive haptic feedback on your smartphone for certain actions. This applies, for example, to activating and deactivating the digital bike alarm.

- Speedo function: for models featuring Bosch Smart System and Fazua Ride 60, app displaying all important ride data in real time on your smartphone
- Personalised look: customisable app colour scheme to match the frame colour of the ebike
- Garage: own ebikes displayed with details on bike alarm, battery status and RX chip
According to Riese & Müller, the update to the RX Connect App 3.0 is now available for download from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for Android-based mobile devices.
