Bosch e-bike battery
E-bikes with Bosch drives are very popular with our customers. This is due to their proven quality, which has long been widely recognised: Bosch bicycle batteries are considered efficient, reliable and safe. They are produced in Europe under strict conditions and are always state-of-the-art, e.g. thanks to innovative battery management systems (BMS) that prevent the battery from overloading. We only sell new original products!
Range of Bosch bicycle batteries
The range depends on various conditions such as the selected assistance mode, rider weight and road surface. Model series & DualBattery
Bosch offers batteries in two model series (numbers represent watt hours):
- PowerPacks 300, 400 and 500 - Luggage rack or frame batteries for optimum weight distribution and good handling
- PowerTubes 400, 500 and 625 - invisibly installed in the bicycle frame
The DualBattery system also allows two batteries to be combined to increase the range. Combining two PowerTubes 625 batteries creates a maximum possible energy content of 1,250 watt hours, ensuring you won't run out of power even on the longest journeys!
Charging times & service life
Please always charge your battery using the manufacturer's original chargers! Charging times vary depending on the model and charger. Using the PowerPack 500 as an example, these would be:
- Standard charger (4A): 4.5 hours charging time
- Fast charger (6A): 3 hours charging time
- Compact charger (2A): 7.5 hours charging time, but extremely compact and perfect for travelling
