Bosch Kiox 400C Display Smart System

The Bosch Kiox 400C display is the ideal fusion of maximum functionality and sophisticated design. With its 2" colour display and a brightness of up to 1000 cd/m2, it displays information with pin-sharp clarity. The built-in brightness sensor also adjusts the brightness to the ambient light at all times. This means that the display is always easy to read in any lighting conditions. The Kiox 400C is compatible with eBikes with Bosch Smart System motors. It can also be paired with the Bosch eBike Flow app and used together with other Smart System accessories such as the Kiox 300, Kiox 500, SmartphoneGrip or the Mini Remote. The Kiox 400C is mounted on the top tube using the mounting screw. There it serves as a replacement for the Bosch System Controller. The top tube must have the appropriate cut-out so that the display can be mounted there. If a System Controller is installed on your eBike together with the frame adapter, you can install the Bosch Kiox 400C. The power supply runs via the switched-on eBike. Integration into the top tube also protects the display from intemperies. Shocks and impacts cannot harm it. It also has protection class IP55, which means it is protected against dust and water jets.

Note: When reinstalling the Kiox 400C, an ID conflict occurs. This can be resolved by a specialist dealer with just a few clicks. Until the conflict is resolved, the eBike will continue to function normally without any restrictions.

Features of the Kiox 400C display

The design of the Kiox 400C is simple and can be operated intuitively. The on/off button is located at the top left. Briefly press the button to switch the eBike on and hold the button down for 3 seconds to switch it off. To the right is the USC-C port. You can use this to charge end devices such as your smartphone. In addition, the Kiox 400C can also be charged with a charger via the port if it has a very low charge level. Normally, however, the Kiox is automatically supplied with current via the eBike while riding. On the lower side of the display is the riding mode button, which you can use to switch between riding modes. A short press increases the assistance level, while you hold the button for lowering for more than 1 second. Next to this is the selection button, which you can use to confirm selected options on the display, scroll to the right and open the quick menu.

In addition to basic data such as speed, time, distance, total distance, riding time and riding mode, you can also view your fitness data such as calories, cadence, heart rate and riding performance. You are also informed about the battery range and charge status. If you have also installed Bosch ABS on your eBike, you will receive information on the current ABS mode and data on the braking distance. Using the Bosch eBike Flow app, you can customise the Kiox 400C display according to your wishes with over 30 customisation options. You determine which data you want to see while riding. In addition to the basic information, you can also read ride data such as ascent, altitude and elevation profile. The display can also be used for navigation. This shows you a map, the distance to your destination and the arrival time. In addition, the display plays a warning tone if you need to turn off, for example. The eBike Flow app can also be used to carry out software updates on the eBike. This means you don't have to visit a specialist dealer, but can update your eBike from the comfort of your own home.
