The Bosch lock ring is required when mounting a chainring. This lock ring is compatible with Bosch motors of the Performance, Performance CX, Speed and Cargo Line of the 4th generation.
According to manufacturer specifications, the lock ring must always be installed in combination with the matching O-ring. This O-ring can be ordered separately from the product and protects the lock ring from loosening by itself even if the torque of the ring is not applied exactly.

Assembly instructions for Bosch lock ring Performance Line Gen.4:

  • You can also find the lockring tool and the sprocket remover required for assembly and disassembly with us.
  • The correct tightening torque is 25-30Nm.

Since this spare part is an original Bosch spare part, it is 100% accurate fit.
The O-ring is also available separately here if required.
