"Performance and reliability are a must"

The DT Swiss 240 hub can handle up to 500 Nm of torque thanks to its oversized hub shell with increased wall thickness and a heavy-duty axle. The equally oversized bearings and specific 24T Ratchets® made of steel with a flat pressure angle and a steel rotor do not give in to the power of the motor even in the long term. Finally, the forces are transferred to the rim via reinforced spoke mounts using newly developed DT SWISS HYBRID 2 spokes. These straight pull spokes, made from a high-performance steel alloy, ensure long-lasting, loss-free power transmission with an oversized spoke head (2.34 - 1.8 - 2.0) and Dt Pro Lock Squorx spoke nipples.

The rim on the eMTB - a tough life!

That's why DT Swiss naturally took a closer look here too and used the proven alloy and World Cup-tested design of their Enduro rims as a basis, which are already considered the benchmark for tough MTB use. The Tubeless Ready hybrid rims have thicker walls in the areas subject to particular stress and a load-optimised rim cross-section. They therefore provide more traction and comfort with only a slight increase in weight.

Tested for heart and kidney

In order to meet the high standards, DT Swiss is constantly developing new test procedures that reflect the real conditions on the trail as precisely as possible and also tests the HYBRID components on the trail for heart and kidney. This is the only way the HYBRID components could be so good. The results are unique in every respect - higher torque on the hub (500Nm), almost double the maximum load on the bearings, 35% higher tensile strength of the spokes and 27 life cycles instead of 13, to name just a few.

Pro Lock® - In the Pro Lock® process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, enabling the construction of extremely durable wheels.

RWS - the high-quality, high-performance wheel fastening system ensures secure and fast fastening of the wheels with unrivalled clamping force.

Spoke Technology - Thanks to a unique, patented cold forging process, DT Swiss spokes are unrivalled and offer the perfect combination of lightness and stability.

Dt Squorx Pro Head - The spherical contact area in the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke. In addition, the Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of assembly and light weight.
