The PowerPack rack battery from E-Bike Vision is specially designed for e-bikes with Bosch Active Line and Performance Line drive systems. The latest PowerPack battery generation guarantees an even more powerful battery management system and cell balancing. The e-bike battery is available in two capacity sizes: 624 Wh & 720 Wh. Thus, E-Bike Vision offers more capacity than the original Bosch batteries. Thanks to the compatibility with the Bosch drive, the original Bosch charging cable can still be used for charging. However, the battery can also be charged with the E-Bike Vision charging cable with Bosch adapter. The lithium-ion battery has no memory effect and can be charged at any time regardless of its state of charge.

Nach Starproblemen super Reichweite
Nachdem der Original Bosch-Akku nach 12 Jahren immer mehr an Kapazität verloren hat, musste ein neuer Akku her. Ich habe mich für den 720 Wh-Akku von E-Bike Vision entschieden. Anfangs hatte ich das Problem, dass das Display den Akku nur in der Hälfte der Einschaltversuche akzeptiert hat. War ärgerlich, aber nach zwei bis drei Versuchen konnte man starten.
Dann sollte es auf eine größere Radtour gehen und ich habe mein Rad beim Fahrradhändler vor Ort zur Inspektion gegeben. Plötzlich bekam ich einen Anruf vom Fahrradhändler: Mit dem Akku von E-Bike Vision war ein Softwareupdate nicht möglich, da die Bosch-Komponenten den Akku nicht als Original akzeptiert haben. Also hab ich den alten Original-Akku vorbeigebracht und das Update funktionierte problemlos. Große Überraschung: Nach dem Update waren die Probleme, dass der Akku von E-Bike Vision vom Display nicht erkannt wurde, verschwunden.
Zusammenfassung: So kompatibel, wie E-Bike Vision es darstellt, scheint der Akku nicht zu sein. Nach den Startproblemen läuft aber inzwischen alles reibungslos und ich freue mich über eine gigantische Reichweite zu einem fairen Preis ...
