Ergon GP5 BioKork Handlebar Grip

The Ergon GP5 handlebar grips made from organic cork are perfect for long e-bike tours, as their special ergonomic design protects your wrists. Manufactured from certified organic cork, these grips offer outstanding ergonomic performance and long-distance comfort thanks to their four grip positions. The full-size multi bar ends have been redesigned and improved by Ergon, ensuring maximum riding comfort in every hand position.

The GP5 Bio Cork with extra-large bar ends consists of 40% cork. The organically grown cork comes from Portugal and meets all ecological guidelines. During production, particular care was taken to manufacture all parts of the grip body in accordance with principles of ecological sustainability. The plastic content of the grip is reduced by 20% through the use of grass fibres.

Special feature: Unlike the smaller Ergon GP grips (GP1, GP2, GP3 and GP4), the Ergon GP5 features an installation-friendly clamping mechanism, making fitting considerably easier.

Pain prevention for hands and wrists

The newly designed grips from Ergon help to prevent numb fingers as well as aching forearms and hands. Excessive pressure on the palm and incorrect hand positioning are often responsible for irritation of the carpal tunnel. With Ergon grips, the entire hand rests on the grip surface, allowing optimal pressure distribution. This helps to prevent numbness in fingers and arms while relieving the carpal tunnel.
