This chain tensioner for all Flyer Premium and Deluxe models from 2006 to 2013/2014 with hub gears automatically compensates for insufficient chain tension caused by natural elongation or wear of the chain. This eliminates the need for manual chain tensioning. In addition, a correctly functioning chain tensioner ensures an exact chain line and prevents the chain from falling off the front chainring.
