A 29" frame made of hydroformed aluminum makes the KTM Macina Race 291 extremely robust. In addition, thanks to 148 mm Boost (installation width), a significantly higher stiffness and tire clearance is generated on the KTM Macina Race 291. Thus, you get a robust hardtail frame, that is  also created for the mountain bike and cross country area.

The heart of the KTM Macina Race 291 is a Bosch Performance CX mid-motor of the latest generation, which comes along with high performance and sporty-powerful driving behavior. The Bosch Intuvia display can be used to select the four different riding modes. In addition to the riding modes, the Intuvia display shows speed, current battery charge status, driven daily kilometers and remaining range. A sufficient power supply is guaranteed by the powerful 500 Wh Bosch Powertube battery.

A sensitive SR Suntour XCR 34 suspension fork with 100 mm travel gives the Macina Race 291 excellent traction. The suspension fork is lockable and can be perfectly adjusted to the rider, contributing to an unforgettable riding experience.

With the Schwalbe Johnny Watts tire 60-622 the Race 291 has got a real all-rounder. The specially developed for the cross country area tire, gives you an optimized off-road grip in any terrain. Its angular outer lugs and the compact central web, make the Johnny Watts to optimal mountain bike tires.
