KTM Macina Sport ABS - powerful - thanks to Bosch Performance Line CX

The KTM Macina Sport ABS is powered by a powerful Bosch Performance CX mid-motor of the latest generation. This was specially designed for off-road use and gives you enough thrust from the first pedal with its 75 Nm (85 Nm) of torque. Thanks to three sensors for cadence, speed and torque, the mid-motor supports you optimally at all times.

A Bosch PowerTube 625 battery fully integrated into the frame ensures sufficient endurance. With its 625 Wh and 13.4 Ah, the PowerTube is extremely powerful and achieves ranges of up to 160 km, whereby the range is always dependent on the riding style, the selected support mode and the route conditions. The battery can be charged at any location with a power outlet.

The central control element of the Macina Sport ABS is the high-resolution Bosch Kiox display. This not only shows you the selected support mode, but also gives you information about all riding data. In addition to displaying navigation and fitness values, Bosch also now offers the premium "Lock" function. The Lock function is a digital lock that provides additional theft protection.

Bosch ABS, Shimano shifting - components for maximum safety

Essential for a real trekking e-bike is a solid frame. That's why the KTM Macina Sport has been given an aluminum Macina Onroad frame. Sufficient suspension on your trekking tour, you get a Suntour Mobie25 suspension fork. The Suntour Mobie 25 Air suspension fork ensures that you can glide over about every bump in the ground. With 63 mm travel, the Mobie perfectly absorbs small shocks or bumps on your tours. The fork can be individually adjusted according to rider weight or track conditions or blocked on steep asphalt passages

The highlight of the KTM Macina Sport ABS is the first Bosch ABS system as standard. Together with the hydraulic Magura H1 disc brakes, the ABS reduces braking distance and the risk of crashes or rollovers. With ABS, wheel speed sensors monitor the speed of both wheels. As soon as the front wheel threatens to lock, the e-bike ABS regulates the brake pressure. Especially in slippery riding conditions and wet surfaces, the Macina Sport is easier to control and bring to a stop.

Of course, the surface on a trekking tour is not always asphalt, so the KTM Macina Sport ABS has two SKS Trekking mudguards to protect you from dirt or splashing water. You can comfortably transport your luggage, such as photo equipment or provisions on the KTM Racktime luggage rack (snap-it). The total load that the Macina Sport ABS can carry, including the rider, is 145 kg. And since trekking tours sometimes take place at daybreak or last into the night, there is a B+M Lumotec IQ-X LED lamp with a whopping 150 lux in the front and a B+M Toplight LED taillight in the rear.

Since it gladly goes in the mountainous terrain  times up and down, shifting between individual gears is sometimes indispensable. So that these gear changes are particularly smooth, the KTM Macina Sport ABS has a Shimano Deore XT8000 GS Shadow. With the XT M8000 and the 11-speed cassette Shimano SLX M7000 with 11-46 teeth, you get a large gear ratio with extremely high efficiency.

A sturdy Schwalbe Marathon Mondial serves as tires. This is specially designed for long trekking tours, whether it is taken on the road, off-road or on trails.
