Fitting & retrofitting the Rohloff E-14 Trigger Shifter
Converting an old Rohloff control unit to the new Trigger Shifter is as easy as changing a light bulb. Remove the old control unit from the handlebars and disconnect it from the plug connection. Now fit the E-14 trigger shifter: start with the screw at the front in the direction of travel. Once you have attached the new controller, you can now connect it to the existing connection cable - pay attention to the two arrows on the plugs. For optimum functionality, you may need to update your hub gear via the Rohloff smartphone app.
