Schwalbe Clik Valve retrofit set incl. pump head adapter

The Schwalbe Clik Valve retrofit set incl. pump head adapter is part of Schwalbe's new product line and revolutionises the way you inflate your bike tyre. No more slipping, bent or broken valves. Simply click on, pump, pull off and you're done - that's Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV).

The retrofit set is used to convert the original Presta / Sclaverand valve (SV) or Dunlop / Woods valve (DV) valve to an Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV). With the Schwalbe valve insert and the pump head adapter, the bicycle tyre can be inflated quickly and easily. For the conversion, the current valve insert (SV or DV) must first be unscrewed from the valve. The SV valve can be unscrewed using the spanner supplied. Next, the new SCV valve insert is screwed into the valve. For the DV valve , the union nut of the old valve insert must be reused for this step. Finally, simply attach the pump head adapter supplied to the air pump. Both a floor pump with a tube and a classic hand pump can be used. The only important thing is that the pump has an AV opening. This is where the pump head adapter is screwed in or clamped.

Once all the parts have been fitted, the tyre can be inflated. The pump head adapter is pushed onto the valve with little force. As soon as the head is correctly seated on the valve, you will hear and feel it click into place. The tyre can now be inflated as usual. Nothing needs to be held in place because the pump head adapter encloses the valve securely and firmly. Finally, the pump head adapter must be removed again and the valve caps placed on the valves. With the SCV system, inflating bicycle tyres is child's play. It works safely, quickly and effortlessly. In addition to the SCV pump head adapter, the SCV valve insert can also be used with a conventional SV air pump. This makes you more flexible and not just dependent on your pump with SCV pump head adapter.

Please note: To convert your SV valve to an SCV valve, the SV valve insert must be unscrewable, i.e. interchangeable. Unfortunately, a valve without an exchange option cannot be converted with the set.
