Description
The SHIMANO mineral oil is used as brake fluid for all SHIMANO hydraulic disc brakes.
Unlike DOT, mineral oil is not hygroscopic, so it does not bind water and therefore retains its quality over a longer period of time. This means that it does not have to be replaced so often.
To bleed the brake, we recommend the appropriate TL-BT03S bleeding kit or, if a syringe is available, the funnel with oil stopper.
