SHIMANO SLX RD-M7000 GS 11-speed rear derailleur-mid-length

With the SHIMANO SLX RD-M7000 rear derailleur, you are slowly but surely riding towards the upper class of rear derailleurs. In terms of shifting performance, it is in no way inferior to its big siblings.

The 11-speed rear derailleur is compatible with 1x11 drivetrains with 11-46T cassette or 2x11-speed drivetrains with 11-42T cassette. This is where the DYNA-SIS 11 technology comes into its own, making the entire gear range available without having to give up the usual rhythm. Furthermore, the M7000-11 comes with the SHADOW RD PLUS system. Thanks to a stabiliser in the form of an internal damper, the chain tension is always maintained even on bumpy ground, which ultimately improves the chain guide and prevents the chain from jumping off.

With the rear derailleur body made of aluminium and medium-length cage made of steel, it is absolutely robust. The flat design ensures safety on narrow trails.

Technologies

SHADOW RD PLUS A stabiliser in the rear derailleur effectively prevents the chain from slipping in off-road conditions. This improves chain guidance and reduces the risk of the chain jumping off. In addition, the technology ensures less noise in the drivetrain.

Rhythm and range
The real advantage of the 11-speed drivetrain is that the entire gear range is available without having to give up your usual rhythm. DYNA-SYS11 ensures an optimal rhythm with "Rhythm Step" gears in the most used areas of flat and uphill. Less shifting of the front derailleur thanks to optimal number of teeth at the front. The rider controls cadence and energy consumption via the close-ratio cassette. The system is a highly efficient gear combination - the result: more speed with the same effort.
