The Shimano SC-E5003 display is the updated version of the E5000. The difference lies mainly in the connection for the thinner EW-SD300 cable of the EP8 drive system. The display is still compatible with the older Steps drivetrains if the EW-AD305 adapter is used. With the Steps SC-E5003 display, Shimano has focussed on the essentials. The design is sleek and slim, the functions compact and clearly organised. Anyone looking for a minimalist and aerodynamic display will love the SC-E5003. It sits unobtrusively on the left side of the handlebar, giving the rest of the cockpit plenty of room to manoeuvre.
