The Shimano SC-E5003 display is the updated version of the E5000. The difference lies mainly in the connection for the thinner EW-SD300 cable of the EP8 drive system. The display is still compatible with the older Steps drivetrains if the EW-AD305 adapter is used. With the Steps SC-E5003 display, Shimano has focussed on the essentials. The design is sleek and slim, the functions compact and clearly organised. Anyone looking for a minimalist and aerodynamic display will love the SC-E5003. It sits unobtrusively on the left side of the handlebar, giving the rest of the cockpit plenty of room to manoeuvre. Four ergonomically designed and easily accessible buttons facilitate quick and intuitive operation.
