Description
Shimano EW-SS302 speed sensor for use with the brake disc magnetic lock ring. The speed sensor is an essential component of your Shimano Steps eBike system. The magnetic sensor precisely measures the speed you are travelling at. The system uses this to determine the level of assistance you currently require. The EW-SS302 sensor can only be used in combination with the Shimano magnetic lock ring for the brake disc. If it is lost or defective, you can simply replace the speed sensor.
