With the TB-1150 Super B chain gauge, you can quickly and easily determine the degree of wear on your e-bike chain. The gauge has two measuring sides: - 0.75 for aluminium sprockets and 1.0 for steel sprockets. To measure, place the side without the labelling between the chain links and see how the other side behaves. If the labelled side of the gauge rests on the chain, it is in good condition. However, if the labelled side falls between the chain links, the e-bike chain is elongated/wearing and should be replaced. The deeper the chain gauge falls between the chain links, the more elongation it shows.
