Description
The further reinforced link plates transmit the torque of the electric drives more reliably and thanks to the different number of links an adjustment to any length is possible.
The Connex 1E8 e-bike chain is only suitable for use on bicycles with hub gears. With 10.5 mm pin length, is significantly wider than the narrower sister model Connex 7E8.
Using the "wider" Connex 1E8 chain on a "narrow" drive can lead to increased vibration of the chain on the other components. In this case, the narrower Connex 7E8 chain is recommended.
Normal width (7E8) refers to a hub gear chain that is used on Shimano Nexus sprockets, for example (1/2" x 3/32"). If your drive has a wider chainring, you must use the 1E8 chain (1/2" x 1/8").
