Folding e-bikes and compact e-bikes – although they all mean more or less the same thing, there are certain differences within the "K class". The term "folding e-bike" (or "folding e-bike" for short) refers to folding bicycles with electric drives. Advantages of folding and compact e-bikes
The strengths of 20-inch e-bikes are clearly in urban environments. Anyone who has to cover short or even longer distances within a city every day and perhaps even uses public transport for this purpose will learn to appreciate their folding pedelec. These compact little bikes can be easily stowed away in even the most crowded train. The same applies to the boot of a car or motorhome, so that you can cover longer distances on holiday without having to do without your e-bike when you arrive at your destination.

Due to their design, folding e-bikes can be individually adapted to different users: parents who commute, children on their way to school, students travelling between their halls of residence, campus and party zone, city dwellers without a car, and adventurous tourists who want to explore foreign cities. Unlike in the past, nobody needs to be afraid of the folding mechanism: it can be operated in just a few simple steps without compromising the stability of the bicycle. The e-folding bikes are "folded" centrally to the side so that the front and rear wheels lie congruently on top of each other. Once you've practised it a few times, the whole process takes no more than a few seconds. And in no time at all, you have only half as much luggage. The mid-drive motor ensures a balanced centre of gravity, as does the battery located in the centre of the seat tube. - Hub gear system
