The Magura plastic insert is used to attach the HS33 or HS11 brake cylinder using the EVO2 or Evolution adapter. It makes sense to replace these clamps after the brake has been dismantled. This ensures a secure fit of the brake cylinder during assembly.

When using the EASY MOUNT or HSi adapter, you need the plastic insert for EASY MOUNT.
