Description
The Rohloff bayonet catch male as a spare part for the internal shift cable guide of the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 hub. The female bayonet catch or alternatively the set of bayonet tip and bayonet catch is available as a supplement.
Assembly instructions
The switch control is disconnected by opening the bayonet catches. For easy handling, a middle gear should be engaged for this purpose. This ensures that the bayonet catches are in an easily accessible position. To open the bayonet catches, turn the bayonet tip and bayonet catch 90° against each other and pull them apart.
When putting the bayonet catch together, please make sure that shift cables and shift cables are not connected crosswise. To connect, insert the bayonet tip into the bayonet catch and, if necessary, twist it slightly against each other until the bayonet spring engages in the bayonet tip. To connect, do not reach on, but next to the spring.
