A stable chain guard to retrofit or replace when worn - The XLC e-bike chain guard for chainrings with 38, 42 or 44 teeth.
The XLC chain guard was developed specifically for hard E-MTB use and is therefore particularly stable. It protects the chainring, the chain and the drive from impacts, as well as the trouser leg from annoying snagging in the sprocket.
The chain guard can be easily mounted over the outer chainring, on electric bike drives which have a spider or crank spider with 104mm pitch circle diameter and 38, 42 or 44 teeth like, for example, the Bosch Classic Line drives and drives from Kalkhoff and Yamaha.
If you need new screws to fix the chain guard or want to change them, we offer a matching pair of chainring bolts to fix a medium or large chainring to your e-bike drive.
