The Mahle Range Extender battery is compatible with all e‑bikes equipped with the Mahle X35 drive system and can increase the range by up to 70%. With a capacity of 208 Wh, it serves as an additional power source for the Mahle X35 Smart battery 248 Wh, supplying it with energy while riding. For optimal performance, the Range Extender should be mounted to the seat tube or down tube at the start of the ride. The required mounting bracket and connection cable are included in the scope of delivery. Both the Range Extender and the main battery are charged using the Mahle X35 Charger. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
Note: The Range Extender supports the main battery while riding, but it cannot power the motor independently if the internal battery is completely discharged.
