Modern design, lightweight construction, and excellent weather protection - this is the Shimano STEPS BT-E8010-A battery. Slim and elegant, the Shimano frame battery fits neatly on the down tube of your e-bike. Thanks to the frame mounting and the lightweight design at just 2.65 kg, the battery is particularly easy to handle. Despite its compact form, the BT-E8010 battery does not compromise on power. A solid 504 Wh capacity can take you and your e-bike up to 100 kilometres. With its waterproof construction, including the battery mount, the Shimano BT-E8010 keeps you mobile in all weather conditions. A long lifespan is guaranteed not only by the battery design. The modern lithium-ion cells easily withstand 1,000 charge cycles and still retain over 60% of their total capacity thereafter.

Note: The BM-E8010 battery mount is not included and must be ordered separately if required.

Note on Charger Compatibility for the Shimano STEPS BT-E8010-A Battery (504 Wh):

Shimano has revised the BT-E8010 frame battery. Due to this technical update, the battery is only compatible with the Shimano EC-E6002 and EC-E8004 chargers.

The older EC-E6000 charger uses the same connector but is no longer compatible with the updated battery generation and cannot reliably charge the battery.

Please ensure you use a current, compatible charger when charging your electric bike.
