Quick-release battery holder for TQ Range-Extender

The Quick-Release battery holder for TQ Range Extender was specially developed for e-bikes with the TQ HPR50 drive system. Just like the TQ Range Extender itself, the bracket was also designed for e-bikes that have a connection to the TQ HPR50 drive directly on the outside of the frame.

The scope of delivery includes 2 mounting plates - down tube & seat tube mounting. Also supplied are 2 quick-release clamps for the TQ range extender and a bottle cage. The mounting plates and quick-release clamp for the bottle cage basically fit any e-bike due to the standard hole size.

Attention! However, there are special features with the quick-release clamp for the TQ Range Extender. This can only be used on e-bikes with TQ HPR50 drive. This is due to the external connection to the TQ HPR50 drive. This connection is located at the top of the down tube or at the bottom of the seat tube. On e-bikes with this connection, the TQ Range Extender can be used directly with a TQ battery cable.

Mounting the TQ Range-Extender with the Quick-Release battery holder

To mount the TQ Range-Extender on your e-bike, you need one of the two supplied mounting plates. The mounting is either on the down tube or on the seat tube. Here you must note where your e-bike has the connection to the TQ HPR50 drive. If the connection is at the top of the top tube, you need the flat mounting plate. If the connection is at the bottom of the seat tube, the slightly rounded mounting plate is used.

To attach the TQ Range Extender to the mounting plate, you need the Quick Release clamp, which is attached to the rear of the Range Extender. Then the quick-release clamp is pushed onto the side of the mounting plate together with the TQ Range Extender. Now the range extender sits firmly and securely on your e-bike.

TQ Range-Extender in combination with a bottle cage

Optionally, you can also attach a bottle cage to your e-bike in addition to the TQ Range-Extender, as the set includes the Quick-Release brackets and the Quick-Release clamps for both options. However, you must check whether there is enough space in your e-bike frame to combine both options.
