Description
SRAM Eagle Powertrain Range Extender Set for that extra portion of trail fun. Expand your eBike capacity by 250 Wh with the additional battery. The SRAM Range Extender can be mounted on your e-bike in just a few steps using the practical holder. And the fun on the trail can continue. If you don't need the additional battery at the moment, it simply disappears in your backpack and a bottle cage finds space on your bike. The Range Extender Kit includes all the parts you need for retrofitting.

Retrofit SRAM Eagle Powertrain Range Extender
With the retrofit kit for the SRAM Range Extender, you can attach your additional battery quickly and easily. To do this, first mount the matching mounting plate on the bottle cage mount. Now replace the frame of your charging socket on the eBike with the supplied charging socket frame including the matching cover. This ensures that your range extender cable does not come loose while riding. Now you can already click the Range Extender battery onto the plate if required and connect it to the eBike. Mount a suitable bottle cage on the supplied adapter plate to be able to quickly switch between battery and drinks bottle. Now you are perfectly prepared for your next trail adventures.
Charging and discharging the SRAM Eagle Powertrain additional battery pack
To charge the Range Extender battery, use the original SRAM Eagle Powertrain charger. With the 4A charging current, the small additional battery is fully charged in around 2 hours. You can also use the clever Y-charging cable to charge your eBike and the Range Extender at the same time. While riding in Range mode, the Range Extender is discharged first, while in Rally mode your E-MTB first falls back on the large Intube battery.
