Installation instructions

Cables must be laid dry (no grease or oil). The plastic-stainless steel combination works almost maintenance-free.
The spiral-shaped outer sheaths of the gear cables provide a defined locking feeling in the gear handle. The use of other gear cable covers (e.g. index cable covers with long cables or NOKON) reduces the locking feeling in the gear lever.

The cable tension is adjusted by turning the cable adjuster. Turning the cable adjuster increases the cable tension. To facilitate shifting, the cable tension should be adjusted so that a play of about 5 mm is felt when the shift lever is turned. The shift lever mark can be aligned with the numbers without changing the cable tension by turning one of the two cable adjusters inwards and the other outwards by the same amount.
