Assembly note
After adjusting the shift cable play, the gear indicator can be fine-tuned by screwing in one cable adjuster and screwing out the other cable adjuster on the cable box.

Caution
If not all 14 gears can be shifted after fitting the cable box, the gearbox or the shift lever is not in the 14th gear position.

Tip
Remove the cable box of the external gearshift control by hand about every 500 km, clean it and lightly grease the inside of the cable drum.
