Description
Rohloff's new pinion system makes sprockets easier than ever before! The Rohloff pinions in sizes 13-19 and 21 are turning pinions and make special tools superfluous.
Every current Rohloff SPEEDHUB is delivered with the splined carrier pinion system.
Also older speed hubs can be easily converted from screw-on to pinion gear, which requires the Splined carrier.
With the new pinion system, a new chain line is also launched on the market: 58 mm (screw pinion = 54 mm). If you use a pinion together with a chain tensioner, make sure that a longer frame bolt is used to adjust the new chain line!
Rohloff has landed a coup with its new product series of the Pinion-System, which makes assembly and replacement much easier. Once again the company delivers engineering art from the middle of Germany! Nearly all individual parts for Rohloff products are manufactured exclusively in Germany and each product has to pass a thorough quality control before it can be marketed as an official Rohloff product.
