Description
An oil change is recommended once a year or every 5000 km. This ensures that there is always a sufficient quantity of oil in the gearbox in the event of oil loss due to sweating oil and that any rest of abrasion or water that may have formed is flushed out.
Notes:
- The hub should be at room temperature (oil flows better). Turn the hub so that the oil drain plug is at the top.
- 250 ml is sufficient for 10 oil changes.
Attention!
Only Rohloff oils (gear oils/cleaning oils) may be filled into the Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14. Filling in other fluids or additives can cause damage to gear parts (e.g. plastic parts).
