What are the special features of the SAM shock pump compared to conventional air pumps?
With its 270 mm, it is very small, but has the power of a large shock pump. Thanks to the SAM (Suspension Air Mechanic) and a swivelling high-pressure hose made of steel flex, the air pump can generate a maximum pressure of 25 BAR. The precision barometer provides an optimal overview so that you can keep an eye on the exact air pressure. In addition, the pressure reducing valve allows you to precisely adjust the air pressure of your suspension element. With the two-stage screw connection, you can connect or disconnect the shock pump without any pressure loss.
All in all, the SAM shock pump by SKS Germany is a high-end air pump and is therefore often used in bicycle workshops. However, due to its size and the associated performance of the SAM shock pump, it is becoming increasingly popular among e-bike owners and mountain bikers. Also suitable for car tyres.
