Developed for even better chain guidance and to harmonise with the new 10-52 tooth cassettes, the SRAM GX-Eagle rear derailleur is also backwards compatible with cassettes with 10-50 teeth. This leaves it up to the rider to decide which system to use.

Features of the GX Eagle rear derailleur

  • Precise shifting and very good chain guidance
  • For cassettes with 10-52 as well as 10-50 teeth
  • Combines with all cassette and chain colours within the Eagle colour range.
  • The Cage Lock™ technology makes rear wheel installation and removal quick and easy.
  • The Roller Bearing Clutch™ prevents wobbly rear derailleurs and flapping chains
  • Precise shifting thanks to X-Actuation™ technology.

An advantage thanks to proprietary technologies

The GX Eagle rear derailleur differs from conventional cassettes thanks to SRAM's proprietary technologies, such as Cage Lock™. This makes it easy to remove and install the rear derailleur and chain quickly.

With Roller Bearing Clutch™ rear derailleurs, you can maintain maximum drivetrain stability even on the most demanding terrain and thus no longer have a problem with wobbly rear derailleurs and flapping chains.

Finally, X-Actuation™ technology gives you precise and consistent shifting all along the cassette.
