Yamaha display unit incl. control unit, PW-X 2017

The new "Yamaha LCD-X Display" is much more compact, robust and user-friendly compared to its predecessor the Yamaha PW-LCD on-board computer. Thanks to the robust and resistant housing and display holder, the display is framed and protected from strong shocks.

Dimensions
The continuous connection cable to the engine has a total length of about 40cm. The cable between the display and the remote control has about 28cm.

The new handlebar control unit has been optimized for operation with cycling gloves. In addition, the Yamaha PW-X display can also be used in the cold season without any problems.

Another innovation of the Yamaha PW-X display is the color display. The up to 5 different support levels (5th level - EXPW only on PW-X) are displayed in the colors green (Eco+, Eco), blue (Standard, High) and yellow (EXPW) on the upper, bright strip of the display. This allows the rider to see from the angle of view which support level they are in.

If the LED display should be too glaring and thus annoying when driving in the dark, this display can be switched off very easily and separately in the menu.

Compatibility:
The Yamaha display PW-X 2017 is only compatible with Yamaha PW-X and PW-SE drive systems. Only on the PW-X motor the EXPW mode (max. 80Nm, max. 120UPM) is selectable. On the PW-SE motor can only be switched to High mode (max. 70Nm, max. 110UPM).
