The perfect equipment for high comfort & efficiency

The Rohloff E14 hub gears are extremely efficient, robust and require very little maintenance. The electronic gearstick is operated by light thumb pressure. In interaction with the drive, the load is briefly taken off the drive and in a fraction of a second the desired gear is engaged. When stationary, Auto Downshift automatically engages an easy gear for starting off. Individual settings can be adjusted according to your own wishes via app on your smartphone. With a gear ratio range of 526%, the 14-speed hub is unbeatable and gets you up steep climbs in no time. In addition, the GSD R14 runs with GATES Carbon Drive CDX belt drive. The carbon reinforced belt requires little maintenance and guarantees a long service life.

The Suntour suspension fork with 32 mm travel, specially made for the Tern, provides extra comfort on your rides. It easily absorbs small bumps or successive shocks. Additional comfort is provided by the Cane Creek Thudbuster suspension seatpost, which is an ideal companion, especially on long or bumpy rides.

With the Tern GSD R14 you enjoy perfect handling and are ready for all kinds of loads. The 20 inch frame can be individually adjusted so that the whole family can ride it. The cockpit is adjustable so that riders with a body height of 150 to 195 cm can climb on comfortably. Furthermore, a premium light system with 700 lumens and brake light function, reflector strips on the tyres and many other useful features have been installed so that you can participate safely in road traffic.

Bosch Cargo Line - harmonious riding experience despite heavy loads

With the Bosch Cargo Line mid-mounted motor, you are well equipped for endurance tours, even under heavy loads. With a torque of 85 Nm and a support of up to 400% of your own power, you can even climb steep hills smoothly. Thanks to the battery capacity of 500 Wh, the lithium-ion battery provides enough power for extended load transport. Thanks to the Dual Battery System, you have 1000 Wh of battery capacity at your disposal, which gives the GSD ranges of up to 200 km. The Tern GSD R14 is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia Display. This allows you to select the assistance levels or call up all kinds of riding and fitness data.
