Giant EnergyPak Smart Charger - G-System 2019

With the Giant Smart Charger you charge your Downtube EnergyPak battery quickly, safely and gently! This is ensured by the intelligent charging technology of the e-bike charger. The Giant charger communicates constantly with the battery cells. If an individual cell threatens to overheat, the Smart Charger automatically switches to another one. This ensures an especially long service life for your battery.

Intelligent charging with the Giant Smart Charger

With 6 amps of charging current, the charger has plenty of power to charge your battery in no time. In combination with the automatic charge control, a 500Wh Giant Downtube EnergyPak is charged to 60% in one hour. The Smart Charger independently ensures a longer service life of your battery. For this, after 500 charging cycles of your battery, the Giant Smart Charger regulates the charging voltage down. Another practical feature of the Giant Smart Charger is the storage function. If you should not use your battery for a longer period of time, you can use the storage function to charge the battery to a battery level of 60%. This allows your Downtube EnergyPak to be stored safely and gently for up to three months.

Note: A charging cable adapter is required for charging outside your e-bike. This is already included in the scope of delivery. The Smart Charger is only compatible with fully integrated down tube batteries.

Although this charger has a 5 pin plug, it can pe plugged into a 7 pins socket, like the one of the Giant SyncDrive Pro, Sport & -C drives.

Warning: this charger has an EU plug and you may need an adapter depending on your country. In some countries like the USA and Canada, the network voltage is 110 Volt instead of Europe's 220 Volt, so you also need a 220V to 110V (inexpensive) converter.
