The Orbea RS Smart Charger is responsible for charging the internal 540 Wh RS Gen1 battery as well as the Range Extender 252 Wh RS and is only suitable for Orbea eBike models from model year 2022 (Rise, Kemen, Urun). The Smart Charger recognises the connected battery and automatically adjusts the charging current. For example, the Orbea RS charger uses 4A charging current for the 540 Wh battery and 2A charging current for the Range Extender RS. The RS Smart Charger is also available in different mains plug variants.
