The Giant RideControl Charge display with control unit is suitable for many Giant e-bike models like Full E+, Dirt-E+, Explore-E+ from the 2017 model year. The updated RideControl Charge display allows you to switch between the Auto Support mode and five other support modes. The Giant RideControl Charge display can be used to switch between the energy-saving Eco+ mode to the powerful powerful Power mode. The different support levels are ideal for changes in the terrain during the e-bike tour. Thanks to the ergonomic control buttons of the control unit, which is the handlebars, the riding modes can be selected with the thumb without having to without having to take your hand off the handlebar.
Mounting / handlebar diameter
The plastic clamp for handlebar mounting is suitable for 31.8 mm handlebar diameter without the enclosed rubber reducing insert. With the reducing insert fitted, it is only 22.2 mm (= area of the grip). A reduction insert to 25.4 mm is not included. Another clamp for 35 mm handlebars is not yet available from Giant.
The Giant RideControl Charge displays the EnergyPak capacity, which riding mode you are currently using and provides other important information such as cadence, speed and total distance. In addition, the Giant Charge display can be updated through the RideControl app to get the latest features.
Note: As the included USB charging cable is very short and only has USB-B connectors, we recommend using our 450 mm USB-B to USB-C charging cable to charge your mobile phone while riding.
