The SHIMANO EW-SD300 cable, as a result of the revision of the STEPS components, is used for the first time in the EP8 traction system. It is thinner and lighter. This extends the range of functions of the future STEPS and Di2 systems. The EW-SD300 is used to transmit interactive signals and supply power to the connected components. It is waterproof and weatherproof.
