- The Bosch rear rack battery guide rail adapter is inserted into the rail between the guide rail and the luggage carrier tube to provide damping.
- Depending on the design of the luggage carrier, either the 4 mm or 8 mm adapter is required.
- Without the adapter, the rear rack battery guide rail would rest directly on the luggage carrier tube and cause noise due to vibrations.
