DESIGN MEETS FUNCTIONALITY

The 1.9" Bosch Kiox display looks very sporty and compact thanks to its new design. Due to the very durable Gorilla Glass, scratches and stone chips are a thing of the past. The scratch-resistant Gorilla glass protects your Bosch Kiox display from dirt and other external influences and makes the display the ideal companion for off-road use.

With the Remote Compact control unit, the Bosch Kiox display can be operated safely and comfortably with the thumb. With a size of 1.9" and a high-resolution colour display, the Kiox guarantees perfect legibility, even in bright sunlight. Another highlight of the Bosch Kiox display is the automatic adjustment of the backlight depending on the light conditions. This means you have optimal readability even in the dark. The new magnetic holder on the Bosch Kiox Display makes it easy to attach and remove, while at the same time providing a firm hold.

The core of the Bosch Kiox display is the Bluetooth connectivity and thus the connection of the display with your smartphone. This allows you to personalise the control of your Bosch drive.

BOSCH KIOX "LOCK" - THE DIGITAL LOCK FOR YOUR DRIVETRAIN

In addition to navigation and fitness data, Bosch now offers the premium function "Lock" exclusively for Kiox. The Lock function is a digital lock that offers additional theft protection. The Kiox must be connected to the smartphone once via Bluetooth with the eConnect app to activate the "Lock" function in the app. The drive unit is then paired with the Kiox so that they only work with their respective counterpart. In the active "Lock" state, the motor support is completely deactivated when the Kiox display is removed. Only when the paired Bosch Kiox is plugged back in, the motor support is enabled again. In the event of your e-bike being stolen, this guarantees that the thief does not receive motor assistance.

In order to use the new "Lock" function, the feature must be purchased and activated once via the Bosch eBike Connect smartphone app.

Note - compatible motors

The Lock function is compatible with the drive systems Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus from model year 2018 and Cargo Line, Performance Line and Performance Line CX from model year 2020. It is not compatible with Bosch Performance / Performance CX motors before 2019 and Active Line motors before 2018.

ESUSPENSION - CONVENIENTLY ADJUST THE SUSPENSION FORK AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON

Another feature that eMTB fans are probably most excited about is the new Bosch eSuspension function. Together with Fox, Bosch is the first to offer the possibility of adjusting the suspension fork to the respective terrain at the touch of a remote button. This gives the e-biker the possibility to optimise the set-up of the Fox suspension fork without having to get off the bike. Depending on the desired set-up, more or less oil is let through the inertia valves of the Fox suspension fork. There are five different settings to choose from:
