The KTM protective cover for battery mounts protects the connection contacts of the battery mount of your e-bike when the battery is removed. Contamination by dust and splash water is thus prevented.
The protective cover thus serves as protection when transporting your e-bike on racks on the car and camper and during longer storage with the battery removed.
The protective cover from KTM was designed specifically for Bosch drives and covers the connections for the frame batteries optimally. Mounted the protective cover with just a single Velcro fastener, which fixes it firmly on the contacts. By using the soft neoprene material, the protective cover hugs the geometry of the frame and reliably protects the contacts without scratching the frame and motor.

Notice:
On some models from 2017, the battery connections are integrated into the frame. If your e-bike has a semi-integrated frame battery, you will need the KTM protective cover for semi-integrated frame batteries.
