Rohloff axle ring complete - internal shift cable guide

The Rohloff internal shift cable guide in the form of the complete axle ring is used either for conversion from external to internal cable guide, which is possible with every Speedhub 500/14, or as a spare part if it has to be done quickly.

Rohloff therefore recommends taking the set with you as a spare part on long-distance trips.

The set includes 1 x axle ring, 2 x bellows, 2 x bayonet tip, 1 x sealing ring and 1 x screw.

Assembly instructions
Place the impeller on the work surface with the axle ring facing upwards, aligning the pull guides to the right. Hold the pull guides with your right hand. Loosen the axle ring by tilting it up and down and at the same time pull it upwards.

After removing the axle ring, do not tilt the wheel towards the axle ring side to avoid oil leakage and to prevent the two freewheel springs from falling out of the dowel pin holes.

If the axle ring cannot be loosened by hand, grip the axle ring with a pipe wrench (place a strip of cardboard underneath). Loosen the axle ring by tilting it up and down with the pipe wrench and at the same time pull it upwards.

Tip: the internal shift cable guide is the lighter version if you want to "slim down" your bike.
