Description
With the help of the Shimano STePS SW-E6000 switch the support mode of the Shimano STePS drive unit on the e-bike is set. The modes include 3 support levels (High / Normal / Eco), as well as the option to completely switch off the motor support on the electric bike.
The switch is programmable via the Shimano STePS display or when connected to a computer. In addition to the support of the e-bike motor, the gears of the Shimano Di2 STePS shifting system can be operated electronically with a second switch. However, this requires the corresponding gear hubs (e.g. Alfine Di2 or Nexus STePS Di2).
The shifting unit is compact, stable and can be mounted on the right and left side of the handlebar. With the Shimano STePS SW-E6000 handlebar remote control, the rider is always in control of the e-bike thanks to the clear pressure point.
