With the replacement tool for Bosch Smart System control units, changing the battery on your e-bike controller is no problem. Use it to lever the LED Remote control-unit or  Bosch System Controller out of your frame and then open the battery compartment without any effort. The same applies to prising open the battery on the Bosch LED Remote. Use the replacement tool here to easily remove the battery without scratching the housing. After opening the control unit (a is required), you can insert a new Bosch battery. Also note that you will need a T6 Torx bit or screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
