Buy rear lights for e-bikes at Elektrofahrrad24.de

With a modern rear light, your e-bike will also look good from behind. It should be bright and have a wide beam angle. In addition, the rear light should be optimally integrated into your e-bike and be clearly visible. Only then will you be safe on the road in the dark. Find the e-bike rear light that suits you, your area of use and your e-bike now.

E-bike rear light on the battery or with a battery – that is the question

Before you choose a specific rear light, you need to decide whether you want to connect the light directly to your e-bike or use a battery-powered rear light. A rear lightbacklight with its own battery is quick to install and offers maximum flexibility. The permanently installed option with a connection directly to the e-bike usually offers more power, eliminates the need for extra recharging of the lights and means you can't forget your rear light. Therefore, a permanently installed rear light connected to the motor is always recommended for e-bikes.

The right rear light for every e-bike motor

Cube, KTM, Haibike or Kalkhoff – there are probably just as many e-bike manufacturers as there are car brands. This might make finding the right rear light seem difficult – but that's not the case. When it comes to motors, many manufacturers rely on standardised systems from Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha or Brose. And even then, connecting a rear light to the motor is always very similar. All you need is the right light cable for the motor system. You can then connect almost any e-bike rear light, regardless of whether you are riding a KTM, Cube, Scott or Bergamont. More than just a red light – practical rear light functions

Many lamp manufacturers have long recognised the enormous importance of rear lights on e-bikes. Because it is precisely behind you, where you cannot see, that you and your e-bike rear light need to be particularly visible. An extra-bright light is just one of the many features offered by modern rear lights.

E-bike rear light with brake light

An brake light function is currently part of the basic equipment of many rear lights. Most manufacturers rely on a sensor-controlled brake light. An acceleration sensor in the rear light detects when you brake and then lights up more brightly. This is a major plus for your safety, especially in city traffic with lots of cars. However, with a special braking system such as the Magura MT5 eSTOP, a "real brake light" on your e-bike. This makes the rear light shine brighter when you apply the brake lever.

An indispensable classic – the parking light on the rear light

Thanks to the parking light, you are always well lit on your e-bike. On all e-bikes, your e-bike lighting stays on even when you stop. Gone are the days of dim parking lights or traffic light stops without any light on your bike. By connecting your rear light to the e-bike battery, you will always have enough power for your lights – both front and rear.

Emergency braking function – greater safety when you need it

Another practical feature of modern e-bike rear lights is the emergency brake function. In the event of particularly heavy braking, the rear light emits an extra-bright light signal. With the Busch und Müller Toplight Line Brex rear light, for example, this means that the lights flash extremely quickly several times. This provides cyclists and motorists driving behind you with an optimal warning.
