The new Shimano STEPS BT-E8010 frame battery not only convinces with its modern design, just 2.65 kg, but also with its superior performance. With its optimised design, the slim and elegant battery fits perfectly on an E-MTB frame. The 504 watt-hours provide sufficient capacity to enjoy an extensive mountain bike tour. Another point in favour of the BT-E8010 frame battery is that it has a very long service life. After 1000 full charge cycles, the remaining capacity is still 60%.
Outstanding: Thanks to the waterproof design, also at the battery holder interface, the BT-8010 is excellently suited for difficult weather conditions.
The removal of the Shimano BT-8010 frame battery is easily removed from the side and the battery is easy to remove, even with a narrower frame geometry.
Note: Since the component systems E6000 and E8000 have the same mounting points, the BT-E8010 is also compatible with the E6000 system.
