Description
Bosch e-bike lock ring for Active, Active Plus and Performance Line drives of generation 3. Use it to mount the chainring or chainring spider safely and reliably. Make sure you use the correct torque and the corresponding O-ring. This way, the Active Line lockring is optimally secured against loosening by itself. The lockring is compatible with e-bikes with Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus and Performance Line 3rd generation drives. These can be equipped with Smart System or the older Bosch E-Bike System 2. You will find a list of compatible motors in the compatibility list below.

Note on mounting the Bosch Active Line Gen.3 lockring
We recommend the use of special tools to mount the lock ring. You will need the appropriate Bosch Lockring Tool as well as a suitable torque spanner. Use this to set the correct tightening torque of 20-25 Nm. Also use the corresponding Bosch O-ring to prevent the lock ring from loosening by itself. Also pay attention to the direction of the thread: it is a left-hand thread which is tightened counter-clockwise.
