Yamaha Range Extender Installation Kit

With the Yamaha Range Extender Installation Kit you connect the Yamaha Range Extender 360Wh to the drive system of your e-bike. The Yamaha installation kit is mounted on the Range Extender on one side and directly on the motor on the other side.

Please note: The two versions are only compatible with e-bikes that have a Yamaha PW-X3 or PW-S2 motor, a 720Wh battery and a frame with MRS system. To use the installation kit together with the Yamaha Range Extender 360Wh, all these criteria must be met on your e-bike.

The variations of the Yamaha Range Extender Installation Kit

The connection cable for the Range Extender is designed for e-bikes with MRS system and is available in two variants:

Variant 8994-001 - The XLC MR-S19 installation kit is for e-mountain bikes and e-trekking bikes, the connection for the cable is at the bottom of the seat tube.

Variant 8994-002 - The XLC MR-S20 installation kit is for full-suspension e-mountain bikes, here the connection is at the bottom of the down tube.
