Yamaha 500 Wh luggage carrier battery

The Yamaha e-bike / electric bike lithium ion battery has no memory effect and can be charged at any time regardless of its state of charge. The charging time is 3.5 hours (400 Wh) or 4.5 hours (500 Wh) for full capacity.

The Yamaha e-bike batteries for rear rack mounting are compatible with all e-bikes / electric bikes with Yamaha PW and PW-X 36 volt mid-motor systems, installed in the models of the following manufacturers:

Compatibility of the Yamaha 500 Wh battery:

The new Yamaha 500 Wh battery introduced for 2017 will be fully backwards compatible with Yamaha eBike models from 2014.
The old charger can continue to be used.
