Bosch ConnectModule GPS Tracker 2026 Smart System (BCM3101)

With the Bosch Smart System ConnectModule (BCM3101), you can always keep track of where your beloved e-bike is located. Using the Bosch eBike Flow app, you remain in full control of your e-bike at all times. However, the Bosch e-bike GPS tracker does much more than simply provide location tracking. The ConnectModule also functions as an intelligent anti-theft device and alarm system. Sensitive sensors detect suspicious movements of your e-bike and trigger an alarm if necessary.

Note: If you would like to install the ConnectModule (BCM3101) on your e-bike for the first time, you will require the appropriate mounting hardware. Different spare parts are needed depending on the motor type. (The following items are available separately and are not included in the scope of delivery!)

Note on compatibility with CUBE e-bikes: Many CUBE e-bike models do not provide sufficient space beneath the motor cover for installation. CUBE has therefore developed suitable replacement motor covers which must be fitted before installing the ConnectModule.

GPS theft protection with the Bosch ConnectModule (BCM3101)

The Bosch location tracker adds an extra layer of security to your e-bike. If you have activated the eBike Alarm feature in the Bosch eBike Flow app, you will always be informed about suspicious movements of your bike. The ConnectModule not only transmits the current location immediately but also triggers a loud audible alarm. Thanks to its integrated backup battery, both the alarm and tracking functions continue to operate even when the main e-bike battery has been removed.

Despite the advanced theft protection offered by GPS tracking, we still recommend using a secure e-bike lock.

Bosch eBike alarm system

Once activated in the eBike Flow app, the Bosch eBike Alarm function is automatically enabled whenever you switch off your e-bike system. In this state, the ConnectModule responds to unexpected movements with a two-stage alarm system.

For minor disturbances, only short warning tones are emitted to deter tampering. If further attempts are made to move or manipulate the bike, the second alarm stage is activated. A loud alarm sounds, tracking is initiated and a notification is sent to your smartphone.

The second alarm stage is only triggered in critical situations and only when neither you nor your smartphone are nearby. This helps prevent unnecessary and concerning false alarms.

Installation and use of the Bosch GPS e-bike tracker (BCM3101)

The ConnectModule is mounted discreetly behind the motor cover and connected between the display and the drive unit. To install the tracker for the first time, you simply need to remove the motor cover. Depending on the motor fitted to your bike, different mounting plates are required. Available options include the mounting plate for Bosch Performance Line CX / Bosch Cargo Line (BDU37YY) and for Bosch Active Line & Performance Line (BDU33YY).

These components are not included and must be purchased separately. Once installed and connected to the motor, all functions are managed via the Bosch eBike Flow app, where features can be activated or deactivated at any time.

The purchase price includes 12 months of Bosch eBike Alarm service. If you wish to continue using all ConnectModule functions after the first year, a subscription fee of €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year applies. The eBike Alarm service does not automatically become chargeable after the included first year.

Important notes regarding the Bosch ConnectModule

Please note that the Bosch e-bike GPS tracker is compatible exclusively with Bosch Smart System motors. To install the ConnectModule, you will additionally require the appropriate motor-specific bracket (except for Performance Line SX motors), a mounting screw and the Bosch ConnectModule cable.

For retrofitting, we therefore recommend the complete Bosch ConnectModule retrofit kit. The Bosch eBike Flow app can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Certain ConnectModule services become chargeable after the first 12 months.
